Half Stop Media was commissioned to capture a private automotive shoot featuring a Audi R8 Performance (2020). The project was fully planned from concept to execution, including location scouting to find an environment that would contrast the vehicle’s sharp performance-driven design.

Shot within the forests of Vancouver, the setting provided a cinematic backdrop—deep greens, filtered light, and natural textures that emphasized the R8’s aggressive lines and refined details. The controlled, moody environment allowed the vehicle to stand out while maintaining a sense of motion and presence.

The shoot combined both photography and video, capturing static hero frames alongside dynamic sequences that highlighted the car’s form, performance, and character. Through intentional composition and movement, the final visuals deliver a refined yet powerful portrayal tailored specifically for a private client.
